Say goodbye to discomfort and pamper your skin with ourcastor oil pack.
Our pack is made from 100% natural and organic cotton flannel, and features a leak-proof PUL fabric exterior for extra durability.
Ideal for those seeking organic solutions with organic, cold-pressed castor oil.
Designed with two comfortable straps, one upper strap for the waist and a lower strap for the hips, both completely adjustable to make it as loose or as tight as your prefer. Best fit for all sizes L-5X.
Soft and comfortable enough to sleep in with no elastic, plastic hooks, or nylon ties poking into your skin. Inside layer that touches the skin is made from 100% natural cotton flannel.
Won't leave your sheets covered in oil. Pack's outer layer consists of high quality polyurethane laminate fabric, making it extremely leak resistant as long as you do not overly saturate it with oil.
For first use, pour 3-4 tablespoons of castor oil on the center of the wrap or just enough to saturate, not soak it, avoiding the edges. The pack should not be dripping.
Fold the pack a few times to evenly distribute the oil across the center.
Place the castor oil pack on top of a heating pad and fold in half. Allow the oil to warm up for 10 minutes on low-medium heat before putting the pack on your body.
After 10 minutes, unfold the pack and check to make sure the oil isn’t too hot before touching it to your skin.
*Never put the castor oil pack in the microwave.
Put the pack on, making sure it covers the area you want to focus on. First tuck the shorter part of each strap behind you, and then overlap it with the longer strap, adjusting as needed for maximum comfort.
Rest with the pack on for 1-1½ hours. You can also leave it on overnight while you sleep.
Use a mixture of baking soda and water to wash any remaining oil off your skin after removing the castor oil pack
Fold the pack, ensuring the oiled part isn't touching anything except itself.
Place the folded pack in an airtight storage container. Store the container in a cool, dry place, preferably in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it again.
Prior to reuse, pour 2-3 tablespoons of castor oil onto the center of the pack. Reheat the pack using a heating pad.
Continue to use and store the pack properly until it becomes too saturated with oil.
We recommend washing the pack every week after repeated uses. Washing regularly prevents excessive oil buildup, making it easier to clean.
Before washing, blot any remaining oil off the top layer of cotton using a paper towel. Pour baking soda over the oiled part of the wrap and let it sit for 15 minutes or longer.
Later, brush off the baking soda and while the pack is still dry, gently rub degreasing dish soap onto the oiled part of the pack. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes.
Machine wash on cold, delicate cycle with laundry detergent separate from other fabrics.
OR Rinse the dish soap thoroughly with warm water to break up the bonds of the oil. Hand wash the soft parts of the park using laundry detergent, in either cold or warm water. Avoid bending and submerging the plastic velcro hook part of the wrap if possible
Hang the pack to dry.
